My first time to be weighed at the Post Office
There has been some concern from the Doctor about Maddie's weight gain (or lack there of) and we have been back an forth to the doctor for a weight check. Their scale appears to not give consistent results, I know we are talking ounces here, but we wanted a second opinion on her weight. What better place than the post office scale! She was not harmed and did not touch anything :-) We weighed her first with her clothes on and then we took all of her clothes off and weighed them on the scale separately. She weight about 7 pounds as of Monday! She is almost up to her birth weight. She has her 2 week appointment tomorrow, I hope she is back up to 7 lbs 3 oz or close.

yall look like you are doing great! love the idea of weighing her at the post office...I might have to do that since I really want to know what Peter weighs. Hope her 2 week appt. went well and she is back to her birth weight.

Hi Gretchen! You guys all look great! Did you know that you can rent a baby scale? We had to have one for a couple weeks when our Maddie arrived. It was about $1/day.
